Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo was on the scoresheet within two minutes of the start of the Old lady game against Sampdoria in Turin on Saturday afternoon. The Portuguese striker picked the ball up on the left-hand corner of the box, controlled and fired it across Audero and into the far corner.

That’s Ronaldo’s 13th goal in Serie A this season, and puts him level top of the scoring charts in the competition alongside Krzysztof Piatek of Genoa. It also means Ronaldo claims the record as the Portuguese player with most goals in a Serie A season, beating Rui Barrios’ 12 goals for Juventus in the 1988-89 season.
