DJ Lambo becomes President of Chocolate City

• It’s not every day one gets to see female entertainers become the head of a major record label

• But Chocolate City has just elevated DJ Lambo to the position of president

• She is the first of her kind in the country

In a surprising bit of information, popular rapper MI Abaga announced that his label mate and foremost disc jockey DJ Lambo is the new president of their record label Chocolate City.

This new change is coming two years after MI became the CEO of the same record label. No official reason has been given for the change but perhaps a new direction was needed for the company.

DJ Lambo on the other hand has expressed her elation at the new position. She also pledged to do her best for the label.

DJ Lambo started out as MI Abaga’s personal DJ, signed up to his former label Loopy Music in 2013 before the merging of Loopy and Chocolate City in 2015.

As an artist, she released a single titled Motion in 2015 featuring Seyi Shay, Cynthia Morgan and Eva Alordiah and a Drank featuring Milli and Dice Ailes in 2015.
